The payments profile (formerly “billing customer”) contains details about the person or organization that's legally responsible for costs produced by a Google Ads account. The payments profile stores the essential details used for billing and payments in your Google Ads account, such as:
- Payments profile ID: A unique numeric ID which appears on account invoices and other documents.
- Who pays: The name and address of the person or company legally responsible for account costs.
- What you pay with: The payment methods you use to pay for ads. You can access this in a separate page.
- Tax details: Your tax status, country, and ID.
- Contacts: The names and contact details for people who are on the profile.
- Document language: In some countries, you can choose the language for your billing and payment documents. If language selection isn’t available, the official language of the billing country will be used.
Your profile will be set up automatically when you create your Google Ads account if you’re using automatic or manual payments. To create a payments profile on monthly invoicing, contact us.
Payments profiles can be used across other Google products, such as Cloud storage or Google Analytics. If you already have a payments profile set up for these platforms, you may be able to use the same profile to manage your expenses for Google Ads.
