Share a bug report for your Pixel Tablet

​You can tell us about an issue with your Pixel Tablet so that our experts can work to fix the same issue for all Pixel Tablets. Although we can't guarantee that we'll reply to you or fix your particular issue, your bug report could help people who use a Pixel Tablet.

Tip: To share the most useful info, submit your bug report right after the issue happens.

Get a support email to share a bug report

To share a bug report with us, reply to the email you received from the customer support agent you spoke to. If you haven't spoken to our support team yet, contact us. Learn about different ways to contact us.

Important: Support is available only in countries where we sell Pixel Tablets.

Share a bug report

Step 1: Create a bug report

  1. On your Pixel Tablet, turn on USB debugging and Bug report shortcut:
    1. Open your device's Settings app Settings app
    2. Tap About tablet.
    3. At the bottom of the screen, tap Build number 7 times. The message "You are now a developer" appears.
    4. In the Settings menu, tap System and then Developer options.
    5. Scroll down to "Debugging" and then turn on USB debugging and then tap OK.
    6. Turn on Bug report shortcut.
  2. Reproduce the issue or error message on your tablet.
  3. Immediately after the issue occurs or you get an error message, swipe down from the top of the screen and then tap Power Power and then Bug report.

Step 2: Save the bug report

  1. When your report is ready to share, you'll get a notification on your Pixel Tablet.
  2. Tap the notification and then OK and then Drive Drive and then Save.

Step 3: Send us the bug report

  1. in Gmail, open the email from the customer service agent and tap Reply.
  2. At the top right, tap Attachment and then My Drive.
  3. Find and choose your saved bug report file.
  4. Tap Select and then Send .
  5. From the Drive dialog box that appears, tap More Options and then Anyone with the link and then Send.
  6. Open the Drive Drive app and find the bug report file you sent. To turn on Link sharing for the file, tap More and then Manage access.
  7. Under "General access," tap Change and then Restricted and then Anyone with the link.

Tip: If you don't turn on Link sharing, the file will be locked and not accessible for review.

After you confirm that we've received the report, you can turn off Link sharing:

  1. Go to Manage access.
  2. Under "General access," tap Change and then Anyone with the link and then Restricted.

Step 4: Turn off developer mode on your Pixel Tablet

  1. Open your device's Settings app Settings app
  2. Tap System and then Developer options.
  3. At the top, turn off Use developer options.
