Here are some messages that you might see when you open an app listing in the Google Workspace Marketplace. Some messages are shown only to Google Workspace administrators who manage Marketplace apps for their organization.
Messages anyone might see

| Sorry, this app is not available in your country or region. | The app developer can limit which countries and regions the app is available in. If you’re not in one of them, you can’t install the app. You can still use the app if you already installed it. |
| This application requires administrator privileges to be installed. | The app developer has set up the app so that only Google Workspace administrators can install the app for people in their organization. If you want to use the app and you have a work or school account, contact your administrator. |
| This application requires a ‘Google Workspace for Education’ license. | Google Classroom add-ons require a Google Workspace for Education subscription, and Marketplace detected that you don’t have one. |
Messages if you have a work or school account

| This application is not allowed by your administrator. | Your administrator can limit which apps you can install and hasn’t allowed people in your organization to use this one. If you think you should be able to install the app, contact your administrator. They can add the app to your organization’s allowlist. |
| This application has been blocked by your administrator. |

| The installation is disabled by your administrator. | Your administrator doesn’t allow you to install any Marketplace apps. |
| This application was installed by your administrator. | Your administrator can install apps for people in your organization. Only an administrator can uninstall it. |
Messages for administrators

Your organizational or group isn’t allowed to install Chat apps or the app doesn’t support direct messages (DMs). |
| This application requires ‘Google Workspace for Education’ licenses for usage in Google Classroom. Only users with a license will be able to use it. | The add-on works with Google Classroom and only users with a Google Workspace for Education license can use it. |
