Your security and privacy are important to Google. Your information is only shared with emergency service providers in case of emergency and with your consent.
Location
This data is only collected and shared with your consent when you initiate an emergency messaging session. Two locations are collected:
- Precise: From your device.
- Loose: From the satellite.
Both locations are temporarily queued by our server until they are forwarded to the emergency service provider in case of an emergency only.
Personal Information
- If you initiate satellite emergency text messaging, your name, email address, and phone number are only shared with an emergency service provider.
- You can choose whether or not to share your emergency messages with your emergency contacts.
Device or other IDs
Your eSim ID number is shared with the Satellite provider so that you can activate the eSIM.
