    Starting today, publishers can no longer add publications to the Publisher Center. We are making this change as part of a transition to roll out automatically created publication pages later this year. What’s next for publication pages? By adding a publication to Publisher Center, publishers were able to manually create a source page for users to follow.     Publisher Center is now easier to navigate. Switch between publications & organizations To switch between publications in Publisher Center, at the top right, choose the Publication dropdown menu. To switch between organizations in Publisher Center, at the top right, choose the Organization dropdown menu. To quickly access Publication settings, you can also click the Publication dropdown menu Settings . Switch between products & return to home To switch between products, click Products . To navigate to the Publisher Center homepage, click Products Publisher Center.

  5. Simplifying content management in Google News

    We recently expanded the frequency that we link to non-AMP web content (i.e. your web pages) across several surfaces, including the Google News app, as part of the page experience update. As a result of this change, we will no longer directly render article text provided in RSS and Atom feeds in the Google News app. Instead, we’ll send readers directly to publishers’ web pages.   6. Publisher Center restructuring

    Publisher Center has been updated to make the user experience easier and clearer. A new section called “Publication settings” allows users to edit general information like the publication name, URLs, and logos from one section. Google News publications and policies remain unchanged.

  7. News Performance report in Search Console

    Search Console will launch News Performance reports to help you understand how your site performs on Google News platforms. The report shows data from news.google.com, and from the Google News app on Android and iOS.     We are launching the Announcements tab on the News Publisher Center Help to keep publishers informed about the latest news on Publisher Center and Google News.
