Send feedback about your Pixel to Google

You can send feedback about your phone to Google from your Settings app. This information helps improve Google's products and services for everyone.

Share a bug report
Important: You're using a custom Android version. If these steps don't work for you, check with your device manufacturer.
Important: Some of these steps work only on Android 8.0 and up. Learn how to check your Android version.

Send a feedback report

  1. Open your phone's Settings app.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap About phone And then Send feedback about this device.
  3. To provide feedback to Google, follow the on screen instructions.

Share a bug report

  1. Open your phone’s Settings app.
  2. Tap About phone.
  3. At the bottom of the screen, tap Build number 7 times in a row.
    • A message, “You’re now a developer” appears on the screen.
  4. Tap Back and then System and then Developer options.
  5. Turn on USB debugging.
  1. When prompted to allow USB debugging, tap OK.
    • If you're experiencing an issue with your cellular connection:
      1. Turn on Enable verbose vendor logging.
      2. For the debug logging change to take effect, turn Airplane mode on and off again, or reboot your phone.
    • If your issue is with a Bluetooth connection:
      1. In the "Developer options" menu, turn on Enable Bluetooth HCI snoop log.
      2. In the "Logger buffer sizes,” change the buffer size to "8M" (or highest possible).
      3. For the debug logging change to take effect, turn Airplane mode on and off again, or reboot your phone.
  1. Turn on Bug report shortcut.

To reproduce the issue you want to report

  1. When you notice the issue, simultaneously press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons until the power menu appears.
  2. Tap Bug report .
    • To confirm if the bug report is created, you can swipe down to check the notification.
    • When your bug report is ready to share, your device vibrates. This may take up to 2 minutes.
  1. To save the bug report to Drive, tap the bug report capture notification and then Drive Drive and then Save.

To send the bug report

  1. Open your Gmail app.
  2. Select the email from the customer service agent.
  3. Tap Reply and then Attachment Attach and then Insert from Drive.
  4. Navigate to where you saved your bug report.
  5. Select the file.
  6. Tap Select and then Send .

A dialog box appears asking if you want to grant others permission to view the file. To ensure Pixel experts can access the file, tap More options and then Anyone with the link and then Send.

To turn off developer options

  1. Open your phone’s Settings app.
  2. Tap System and then Developer options.
  3. Turn off Use developer options.
  4. When prompted to restart your device, tap Restart.
