dynamic element

A dynamic element is any element in the ad that can be swapped. All of the dynamic elements come together to build out the complete ad for each impression. The most commonly used dynamic elements include:

  • Text (e.g. headlines, prices, CTA copy, etc.)
  • Images (e.g. product images, background images, CTA button images, etc.)
  • Exit URLs
  • Font size/color
  • Videos (e.g. YouTube Video IDs, MP4s)

How dynamic elements work with feeds

In dynamic creatives that use feeds, a dynamic element is any element in the ad (such as a headline or image) that is swapped out based on the dynamic strategy and/or rotation options. Each dynamic element has its own column within the dynamic feed. You can create as many dynamic elements as is required for your dynamic campaign, as long as you do not exceed the 100 column limitation.
