In order to maintain the metadata of the original file in the edited image, Snapseed requires access to write metadata. If "Location Services" is disabled on the device, Snapseed cannot write metadata to the edited image.
To enable Location Services, go to Settings > General > Restrictions > Location Services and ensure that "Allow Changes" is checked. Next, go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services to enable Location Services for Snapseed.
