View trip updates feed coverage

To access a detailed coverage report for your Realtime trip updates feeds, click 'Coverage' for the feed in question. If you provide multiple trip update feeds for the same GTFS static feed, the report will deal with the cumulative coverage of all trip updates feeds matching that one GTFS static feed.

Feed issues

The report include metrics about the coverage observed over the past 7 days:

  • Realtime coverage by trips, over all routes: The number of trips for which in the given period we received realtime information, over the total number of trips in the corresponding GTFS feed.

  • Realtime coverage by trips, over routes with at least one realtime update: The average number of trips for which in the given period we received realtime information out of the total number of trips belonging to routes with at least one trip served by realtime updates.

  • Detailed route metrics: Shows routes with no coverage, with partial coverage, and with full coverage:
    route metrics

  • Coverage map: Visualizes coverage with different color coding for routes with no coverage, routes with partial coverage, and routes with full coverage.
