Update Google Podcasts

Google Podcasts on Android is part of the Google app. To update Google Podcasts: 

1. Open the Google Play store app .
2. Tap your avatar  Manage apps & devices  Manage.
3. Tap the Google app   Update.
4. Once the update is complete, tap Open.
   • This opens the Google app.
5. Close the Google app .
6. Launch the Google Podcasts app .

If you still find the “Google Podcasts needs an update” message, restart your phone.
