You're in the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) and have continued making cool content and building your audience. Now, you might be wondering, "When do I actually get paid?" There are a few revenue milestones called "thresholds" that you need to meet before you can get paid.
The revenue thresholds you need to meet before getting paid are:
- Tax info threshold
- Verification threshold
- Payment method selection threshold
- Payment threshold
- Cancelation threshold
Revenue thresholds vary based on the reporting currency listed in your AdSense for YouTube account. When you hit these thresholds, you need to take certain actions to make sure you get paid. You can view the value for all revenue thresholds in the table below.
1. Tax info threshold
If you’re a creator in YPP, then you’ve hit the tax info threshold and need to submit your tax info, no matter your location.
Google is required to collect tax info from creators in YPP. If any tax deductions apply, Google withholds taxes on YouTube earnings from viewers in the US. If you don’t share your tax info with us, Google may be required to deduct up to 24% of your total earnings worldwide.

2. Verification threshold
When your YouTube earnings reach the verification threshold, you need to:
If you have separate payments accounts for AdSense and AdSense for YouTube, you’ll verify your info when either of your payments accounts reaches the verification threshold. You’ll only have to verify your info once.

3. Payment method selection threshold
When your earnings reach the payment method selection threshold, you can choose how you want to get your money. The forms of payment available will depend on your payment address. Learn how to set up your form of payment.
If you have separate payments accounts for AdSense and AdSense for YouTube, you’ll need to select a form of payment for each account when it reaches the threshold.

4. Payment threshold
When your earnings reach the payment threshold, then you’ll get paid as long as there are no holds on your account and you’re following the:
- AdSense Program policies and
- AdSense for YouTube Terms and Conditions or AdSense Terms and Conditions (whichever is applicable)

If you have separate payments accounts for AdSense and AdSense for YouTube, each account will need to reach the payment threshold to be paid.

5. Cancelation threshold
If you decide to close your AdSense for YouTube account and your balance is greater than the cancelation threshold, you'll get a final payment. When you close your account, you’ll get paid within approximately 90 days after the end of the month, as long as you:
- Don’t have any holds
- Have completed all of the steps to get paid before closing your account
