A TCL SmartProjector comes with a Bluetooth remote control, and you'll need to pair the remote control with the projector before using remote.

When you turn on your projector for the first time, you'll see a page titled "Pair Your Remote Control" Just follow the on-screen instructions to pair your remote with the projector. We've also listed the steps below: 

Hold the remote near your TCL SmartProjector.
On the remote, press the HOME and BACK - keys together for about 3 seconds, then release.
