Last week we hosted an incredible panel event on workplace wellness, hosted in partnership with Bayes Business School & Investors in People. We heard from three incredible experts Mary O'Connor, Ann Roberts, and Dr. Chantelle Brandt Larsen DBA, MA, MCIPD🇸🇭🇦🇮🇬🇧🇨🇭♾️🌈🧠 who shared their experiences and valuable insights into the challenges of workplace wellness in a modern world, which was expertly hosted by our very own Head of People & Performance, Micha Swallow. I had the privilege of attending the UK HURUN Under 35 event last night, representing Trinnovo Group | B Corp™. Hosted at the Evelyn Partners offices. Lest we forget. 104 years after its unveiling, the Cenotaph stands tall as the centrepiece of national remembrance in the UK, a monument to the ultimate sacrifice made by its soldiers during the First World War and every conflict since. Each year, thousands gather to pay their respects and lay wreaths, to reflect and remember, and to honour the fallen. Originally a temporary memorial made of wood, its 1919 unveiling attracted a procession of over 15,000 people. A permanent replacement was commissioned the following year, built from Portland stone. English Heritage writes: ‘Standing serenely amid the bustling traffic on Whitehall in Westminster, London, the Cenotaph – or ‘empty tomb’ in Greek – has served as a symbol of remembrance, commemorating those who served or lost their lives in times of conflict, for a century.
