  • A glimpse of life in Gaza 💔 What began as temporary refuge has turned into a lifeline of stability and comfort for many families over the past year. While our shelters and aid are designed to be temporary, they provide a little bit of relief to those facing unimaginable hardships. The people of Gaza are still facing shocking levels of violence, and as temperatures drop, your support can help us keep families warm this winter - if you can, donate today. #IsraelGazaWar #HumanitarianAid #DisasterAid #ShelterIsAHumanRight

  • 💚 A huge thank you to all our donors that contributed towards our Big Give Christmas Challenge campaign. You helped us to raise over £93,000 for our work supporting families displaced by the conflict in Gaza. Your support will provide lifesaving aid items like tents, blankets, and hygiene kits to help displaced families prevent disease, stay warm, and protected from the weather. Thank you for your amazing contribution.

  • 🌀 In just 29 days, the #Philippines was struck by six devastating tropical cyclones, displacing over 1.4 million people. At ShelterBox, we’re expanding our response to meet the growing needs. Our team in the Philippines is in the affected area, providing support to the people impacted by both Storm Trami and Super Typhoon Pepito. We’re partnering with organisations like FACE Inc., to distribute emergency supplies like tarpaulins, tools, and solar lights - but we can't stop there. The Philippines faces repeated disasters, leaving communities no time to recover before the next one. We must act now to prepare, protect, and help these communities before storm hits. Help us break the cycle of disaster. We need your help to make sure no one is left without shelter when disaster strikes. #TyphoonSeason #EmergencyResponse #SeasonOfGiving #DonateNow

  • On #HumanRightsDay let's remember: shelter is not a luxury, it's a fundamental human right. Over 120 million people around the world are displaced from their homes, through no fault of their own. It's easy to take the safety of our homes for granted, but shelter is about so much more than just a physical structure - it's the foundation for stability, dignity and the chance to rebuild a life. Help us ensure that everyone, no matter who they are or where they're from, has a safe place to call home. #ShelterIsARight #StandUpForHumanRights

  • The fall of the al-Assad regime is a turning point in history, but the impact it will have for the people of Syria is unknown. What we do know is the country remains in the grip of a dire humanitarian crisis, and the need for emergency shelter is still prominent. We are continuing to work with our partners to get winterisation aid to families displaced in the north of the country to help survive the cold. bit.ly/3VAJMzZ

  • In August, severe floods in #Bangladesh destroyed over 300,000 homes. Saleha’s family lost everything, including their home and livestock. With three young children, an elderly father to care for, and a husband earning just 220 taka a day - less than £1 - they can’t afford to rebuild their home. Saleha's home is unstable and unsafe. She fears for their children’s safety, with a risk of collapse as well as snake and insect infestations. They have been forced to share sanitation facilities with their neighbours, and Saleha's daughter can't attend school due to the family’s financial struggles. Saleha says, "If I could earn money, then my husband’s burden will reduce, and together we can manage our family." You can help 👇 ShelterBox is working to rebuild homes like Saleha's, focusing on making them more resilient to future floods. With your generosity, we can bring hope to families like Saleha's and help them rebuild their lives. #ShelterBox #FloodRelief #Floods #ClimateChange
