Best part of being a drinks founder? 🤔💭 Hands down it's seeing the amazing reactions of people tasting Cháps for the first time! The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of in-person activations. It's been so nice to engage with our Cháps community and also introduce new people to our brand. Here are few of the highlights: 🍹 Getty Images x Black Curatorial Ltd: We were invited to curate the drinks menu for their private photo-immersive dinner in celebration Black visual artists. Think cool photo archives, serious networking accompanied by irresistible Cháps beverages! 🍹Meta HQ: We gave attendees a taste of culture whilst they learnt from top founders and industry experts in the creative sectors. 🍹adidas: We teamed up with GUAP to take over the Adidas London White City store and serve up some fire Cháps-infused cocktails and mocktails to celebrate the release of their SL72 sneaker range! The queue for Cháps was going out of the store 😅🧡 🍹The Compozers Headline Concert at The O2, Wembley - Keeping the energy high and the night vibey, we created refreshing Cháps cocktails for VIP's, influencers and artists backstage. 🍹ASAKE's Album Release Event - To celebrate the release of global musician ASAKE's latest album, we were invited curate a bespoke Cháps drinks menu to serve to over 1,000 attendees at the event! It's been a fun past few weeks for sure and we've got some very cool activations up coming before the year ends 🎉 Follow Cháps to find out where we will next be popping up!

THE MAYOR OF LONDON DRINKS CHÁPS🍹 I had the pleasure of meeting Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan on Saturday. We spoke on everything from Cháps to Afrobeats music! It was great discussing the journey of Cháps and the lack of African representation in the UK beverage industry. As a drinks business that was founded and operates from the heart of London, I could tell our conversations were particularly enlightening! A big thanks to Foundervine, Cecil Adjalo, Izzy Obeng for inviting us to the Black on the Square event in Trafalgar Square to activate. Over 5,000 people attended! It's always a nice feeling when people from our Cháps community come up to us sharing that they love our drinks and repeatedly purchase. Looking forward to the next activation! #WeDrinkCháps

🚨BIG NEWS - WE’RE BRINGING A TASTE OF AFRICA TO CO-OP🍹🌍 🚨 We’re very excited to have our traditional African soft-drinks listed in 100 Co-op stores nationwide later this year. Out of over 500 applicants, Cháps is 1 of the 8 brands selected to be part of Co-op’s Apiary incubator programme for innovative, purpose-led, challenger brands. Our mission is to bring a taste of Africa to the mainstream, and we could not think of a better organisation to take this next step on our journey with than Co-op. This was even more so emphasised last week when we were invited for a welcome day at Co-op HQ in Manchester. We heard talks from Jagir Mankodi 🥜, Eugene Patterson Revibed Drinks (Raising SEIS/EIS) and Dapur Mariae on their amazing experiences as Apiary alumni, and was introduced to the Gift-to-Give element of the programme, which provides mentorship from major players within food and beverage. We’re really looking forward to the continued mentorship, education & insights via this amazing programme. Massive shout out to Kelly Orme, Jack Clayton, Rebecca Oliver-Mooney and whole the Co-op Apiary team for believing in our mission. To us, this opportunity is more than a listing, but a real opportunity to learn, inspire and make the difference to the beverage industry that we would have loved to have seen growing up. Big shout out to our incredible fellow Cohort 3 brands that we will be sharing the journey with: Jam N VeganELEAT, H.M.Pasties , Cheeky Nibble, FAMILY SECRET , Loro Crisps and Some Grub And to the previous cohorts!: Revibed Drinks , Superfoodio , Mon Dessert | B Corp™, BLUE TURACO COFFEE, Drink Local, Mon Dessert | B Corp™, Dapur Mariae, HumaniTea - Vegan Tea Lattes We Drink Cháps! 🍹

VEGANDALE 2024 ☀️ We had a great weekend at Vegandale serving our drinks. Vegandale is huge across the US and it was a pleasure being part of their first UK festival in London! So many delicious and innovative Vegan foods from across the world were there! Alongside live music too 🎶 It's always a great feeling introducing Cháps to new people, providing them with a flavourful cultural experience and seeing their great reactions after tasting! Safe to say everybody enjoyed! 🍹 #WeDrinkCháps 🌍🫶

Investors - let’s chat? Yesterday marked two full years of Chaps F&B 🎉 In September 2021, my co-founders George AG. Emmanuel, and I were discussing the lack of accessible African heritage beverages, particularly the Chapman drink (You can find an overview of chapman on our product page) Popular amongst Nigerians and West Africans, this amazingly refreshing drink isn't known and hasn't been exposed to other demographics. While stores and supermarkets offer beverages inspired by other various cultures, drinks representing Africa are notably absent, despite their delicious flavours. We wanted to address this as we felt like we should be able to walk into any store and grab a chapman or any other African inspired drink. That conversation sparked a series of events: research, recipe development, manufacturer sourcing, and brand development. This ultimately led to the launch of Cháps on July 9th, 2022, with our flagship Cháps - Chapman beverage. Since then, our brand has evolved to include other products, maintaining our mission to introduce traditional African drinks to a global audience and bring them to the forefront of the beverage market. It’s been a rollercoaster of a journey, balancing life’s responsibilities while growing a business, investing our savings, and working without pay just yet. Despite the challenges, we’ve enjoyed building our business and are incredibly proud of our accomplishments so far: * Over 6 figures in revenue (entirely bootstrapped) 🎯 * Over 100,000 bottles sold 🍹 * Launching in a nationwide retailer by the end of 2024 🛒 * Stocked in 40 UK outlets (restaurants, bars, wholesalers, and stores) * Collaborations and activations with global brands like Adidas, Netflix, ASOS, Wray & Nephew & more 🤝 * A strong and growing Cháps community 🫶 Thank you to everyone who has contributed to Cháps, from friends and family to our supportive Cháps community who advocate for us and scream our name whenever they can. We appreciate you all! With that said, its time to scale and take Cháps to the next level. We have a lot of exciting growth plans and are now open to connecting with investors who align with our vision. If you’re interested, drop me a message, and I’ll send over our deck.
