ATTENTION: As of May 2024 all hats orders will be made in unsanded black fur felt only. If you wish to have another color/quality that is shown you MUST message us to see if it is currently available. This will be the status quo until our warehouse reorganization project is completed. (We CAN place specialty orders for other hat colors/felts at market prices which are much higher... please message us for those details. If you have any trouble completing your order please contact us so that we can assist.NOTE: For 2023 this hat will be finished with a standard narrow hat ribbon....usually in black ....AND will have a signed/numbered liner. UPDATED PRODUCTION TIME: ALL hat orders placed on or after May 12, 2019 will be in the current production time of 10-12 WEEKS. If possible we will ship sooner. Lil Grizz is determined to give each hat the needed time and attention to detail. However, we are also headed into the summer season and have some family and business events which will take time away from the shop. The Plainsman is a slightly taller Vaquero with a kick to the brim. It dates back several hundred years to the Southwest and before that to Spain. The kick to the brim add an element of pizzazz to top out any outfit be it historical or high fashion. It has a crown height of 5 1/2" and a brim width of 3 1/2".
