No reference to "The Overwrought Urn"?  ;-) AnonMoos 02:42, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Do you mean The Well-Wrought Urn???

Please don't use "smartquotes". AnonMoos 17:56, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

While much of the recently added content is very good, it's going to need a comprehensive cleanup for style and to prune unnecessary peacockish and non-neutral language. I'll try to get to this if I can, but I'd invite other editors to step in sooner. -- Rbellin|Talk 18:03, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The early years

I'd be interested to know how Brooks could receive a B.A. from Vanderbilt University in 1928 and an M.A. from Tulane University the same year.

Also, it mentions that Brooks received a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and then another B.A. in England. It would be interesting, and perhaps add some clarity, if the major were mentioned for each B.A., or at least if some hint of the difference between the two degrees were given. All it says now is that he received a B.A., then an M.A., then a B.A., and then a B. of Letters. CorinneSD (talk) 22:40, 4 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
