This seal image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.
It is recommended to name the SVG file “Seal of Tarrant County, Texas.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.
This seal is based off the seal of Texas, you can see examples with the Seal of Texas from 1879 and the seal of Texas from 1909, only minor changes have been made, i.e. changed text, addition of basic shapes and picture colorization which is not covered by copyright according to the 37 CFR 202.1(a).
Note: The same seal can be found on the "1879 Revised Statutes of Texas", with the same three small stars and two circles with the only main difference being the text was changed.
