A 268 bus turns onto Hampstead High Street having descended Heath Street on route to Finchley Road from Golders Green. As it turns, it passes Hampstead Underground Station with its magnificent red tiled facia. A couple of Asian tourists can be seen outside the station looking at a map - working out which road goes where in Hampstead can be a daunting propect for the first time visitor. |
