Teelah is a rural locality in the South Burnett Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2021 census, Teelah had a population of 90 people.[1]
Geography
[edit]Teelah has the following mountains:
- Goat Mountain (26°45′36″S 152°04′48″E / 26.7599°S 152.0801°E) 357 metres (1,171 ft) above sea level [3][4]
- Mount Mellera (26°46′20″S 152°06′50″E / 26.7723°S 152.1140°E) 461 metres (1,512 ft) above sea level[3][5]
There is a small area of rural residential properties in the south-west of the locality, but otherwise the land use is grazing on native vegetation.[6]
History
[edit]On 1 February 2018, Teelah's postcode changed from 4306 to 4314.[7]
Demographics
[edit]In the 2016 census, Teelah had a population of 68 people.[8]
In the 2021 census, Teelah had a population of 90 people.[1]
