    This book goes into amazing detail to explain everything. It should be on the shelf of every practicing engineer in this country and probably Canada. Especially since the phone service is something that will be in use forever as it seems. It is perfect and well written.

    A superb general, and concise reference for all telephone/communication network engineers. A must have reference that does just enough to explain the subject matter without loosing the reader with too much detailed information. Wish that I knew this publication series from Reeve's was available when I was new at my transmission engineering technical support job!!!
