They Met at an Israeli Desert Party

Gadot told Glamour they met through mutual friends at a desert party, which really sounds more like a retreat. “It was all about yoga, chakras, and eating healthy—we didn't exactly find ourselves there, but we found each other,” she said.

He’s 10 Years Her Senior

Gadot alludes that he knew she was the “one” before her because he’s “older” and wiser. “He told me on our second date he was serious and wasn't going to wait more than two years to ask me to marry him,” she told Glamour. “Fast-forward two years; he proposed. We were married in 2008.”

They Celebrated Their 12th Wedding Anniversary in 2020

The two lovebirds tied the knot back in 2008, and celebrated their 12th anniversary in September of 2020. Gadot posted a sweet selfie to commemorate the special day. 

“Happy anniversary @jaronvarsano you’re my one. My only. My everything..” she captioned the post. “12 years of marriage feels like a walk in the park with you. To many more to come. I’m yours forever” 

He’s Very Supportive of Her Career

When Gadot started booking movies (she played Gisele in the Fast and Furious franchise before landing Wonder Woman) the two did a lot of traveling. Gadot said she became anxious about traveling once she had her first daughter, Alma, according to Glamour. But Varsano always encouraged her to continue her career.

“It was my husband who told me: ‘Gal, think about what kind of a role model you want to be. If you want to show Alma that she can follow her dreams, that's what you should do, and we will figure out the logistics,’” she told Glamour.

He’s an Israeli Businessman and Built a Hotel in Tel Aviv

He and his brother co-created and built the Varsano Hotel in Tel Aviv. According to Daily Mail, in 2015, they sold the hotel to Roman Abramovich, Russian businessman and owner of London’s Chelsea Football Club.

They Have Three Children Together

In 2011, Gadot gave birth to their daughter Alma, and in 2016 they announced they were expecting again. They welcomed another addition to their family with daughter Maya in March 2017. A few years later the couple took to Instagram to announce the birth of their third child, Daniella, in 2021.

“My sweet family...” she posted to Instagram. “I couldn’t be more grateful and happy (and tired 🤪) we are all so excited to welcome Daniella into our family. I’m sending all of you love and health."
