People watching the street football match in Lima, Peru. May 1, 2017. For 64 years every May 1st. is celebration the Mundialito de El Porvenir in the populous district of La Victoria. Six decades ago, the 1950 World Cup in Brazil, inspired a group of Peruvians from the neighborhood of El Porvenir to create their own tournament. With two stones like an arch and a jebe ball, the rookies imitated the plays of their idols in the block 6 of jirón Parinacochas, in the populous district of La Victoria. The first World Cup played a leap in the woods. The players were persecuted by the police, since in the 50s, during the government of Manuel A. Odria, playing the sport king in the streets was prohibited. Just like every first May was celebrated in the Victorian quarter of El Porvenir the famous 'Mundialito'. Around here have created historical footprint of national football as Teófilo Cubillas, Hugo Sotil and Julio César Uribe. (Photo by Geraldo Caso/NurPhoto via Getty Images)
