Reflecting on the message of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Lenovo wanted to offer a wide audience the possibility to be virtually present when Dr. King delivered his powerful speech in Washington DC, all through Augmented Reality technology.

Lenovo contacted the Rights & Clearance team to find the perfect videos and images in Getty Images' vast archive and obtain all necessary third‑party intellectual properties. The team, who has a long‑time relationship with the King Estate, was able to expertly guide the project through the approvals process to secure both the publicity rights for Dr. King and the copyright to his iconic speech in time for the launch of the AR experience.
