Video shows destruction after barrage of Russian missiles in Kyiv region

DARNYTSKYI DISTRICT, KYIV, UKRAINE - DECEMBER 29: Ukraine’s several regions faced a massive Russian strike on Thursday (Dec. 29) as air raid sirens blared across the country. According to Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Russia launched over 120 missiles. After the attacks, Ukrainian authorities confirmed the shooting of incoming Russian missiles and explosive drones in some regions. Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said on Telegram that Ukrainian air defense systems intercepted 15 Russian missiles over Kyiv. At least three people were wounded and hospitalized, including a 14-year- old girl, Mayor Vitali Klitschko stated. He also said 40 percent of the capital is without power due to the missile strikes, asking residents to stockpile water and charge their electronic devices.
