Launch of 'No To Knives' campaign

Launch of 'No To Knives' campaign; Gordon Brown speech continued SOT - all of you here are playing a part one way or another / your local heroes are doing things in your own communities / young people are organising to make sure message gets out to other young people in your area / there are community groups represented here doing magnificent things and lucky enough to have celebrities who are role models to young people - like John Terry and Ashley Cole from Chelsea / are many people from many sports represented here today / many people from world of music, business / many people who have huge influence because young people look up to them - should be no more families suffering as Brooke Kinsella's family had to suffer and richard Taylor's family had to suffer - should be able to persuade people that knives not acceptible / I want message to go out with local and national ambassadors so every youth group, schools, pop concerts, TV, radio that this country wants no more knife crime / we can get knives off the streets / rely on people coming together / great campaigns work with other campaigns so we can get this message across to everyone - our challenge over next year is to make sure message goes out to everybody / no to knives, knives off our streets / unacceptable to carry knives / we are having no more of it / all of us can play a part in making that happen / thank you all
