Through the Global Platform for Child Exploitation Policy, NCMEC is sharing data, expert perspectives, policy positions, and other information to drive policy and legislative advocacy around the world. On this first-of-its-kind Platform, stakeholders can access both global and country-specific information related to reporting trends, existing legal frameworks, current issues, emerging technologies, and other topics to equip advocates as they pursue policy objectives related to online child sexual exploitation.
The Global Platform is, in part, a response to stakeholder requests for access to more of NCMEC's data, particularly related to child sexual exploitation reports submitted to NCMEC’s CyberTipline, and for NCMEC's views on various policy issues. NCMEC is committed to partnership in this global effort, and contributions—such as prevalence studies, country insights, technical explainers, and annual reports—from other organizations and experts, including survivors, are also included.
The content contained on the Global Platform will be informative to non-governmental organizations, policy makers, legislators, regulators, activists/advocates, and the news media in countries around the world.
We welcome your feedback to help make the Global Platform for Child Exploitation Policy even more impactful and useful.
