The Worst Films of 1985

Gene Siskel - Host: [on "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure"] For me, Pee-Wee's juvenile humor, I guess, works better in seven minute skits on the Letterman show. That's the only conclusion I can draw from my negative response to this movie that... just didn't make it for me.

Roger Ebert - Host: Well, I didn't see the movie. It came out while I was on vacation. When I came back, I didn't catch up with it. But oddly enough, Gene, on the basis of that clip... I'd like to see it. I thought it was kinda funny.

Gene Siskel - Host: ...On the basis of THAT clip?

Roger Ebert - Host: On the basis of that clip, I kinda like it.

Gene Siskel - Host: Let me just tell ya something: On the basis of that- if you think THAT'S funny, you're gonna ROAR with this film, because...

Roger Ebert - Host: He kinda reminded me of Harold Lloyd a little bit there.

Gene Siskel - Host: [grabbing head in disbelief] Oh my GOD, Roger, you're... Harold Lloyd? Don't throw big, good names around.
