- AnecdotesViolinist, composer and band leader. Formed his own band in 1935, after twelve years with Paul Whiteman's Orchestra. His octet performed on the West Coast, cutting records, making radio broadcasts and being featured on screen, supporting top entertainers, like Jimmy Durante, Jack Benny, Bob Hope and Bing Crosby. Malneck composed many hit tunes, notably "Goody, Goody", "I'll Never Be The Same" and "I'm Through With Love".
