Ryan Lofty is a producer, composer, songwriter and vocalist. He co-composed the scores for Fast & Furious Spy Racers (Netflix), Cleopatra in Space (DreamWorks), and The Crystal Maze (Nickelodeon). He is the co-series songwriter and composer for an unannounced DreamWorks series in pre-production.
He was a song producer and additional music composer for Harvey Girls Forever, co-writing songs for series' boy band Crush4U, voiced by real-life boy band legends Nick Lachey (98 Degrees), Joey Fatone (NSYNC), Joey McIntyre (New Kids on the Block), and Shawn Stockman (Boyz II Men).
Way back in 2013, Lofty composed music for children's language learning products at Walt Disney Company. He's a long-term collaborator with reality TV producer Bunim/Murray and has written theme songs for shows including Bad Girls Club on Oxygen Network and Chachi's World on Go90. He's also produced custom music libraries for MTV's The Challenge and The Real World, and Keeping Up With The Kardashians on E!.
He's contributed music to other things too, mostly where some combination of composing, songwriting, and electronic music collide. You can hear his songs on ads for Apple, BMW, and Mountain Dew; in TV pilots and indie films; and occasionally on the radio.
Originally from the Midwest, Lofty now lives with his wife and two cats in Los Angeles, CA.
