- TriviaOne of over 100 Columbia features, mostly Westerns, sold to Hygo Television Films in the 1950s, which marketed them under the name of Gail Pictures; opening credits were redesigned, with some titles misspelled, the credit order of the players rearranged, some names misspelled, and new end titles attached, thus eliminating any evidence of their Columbia roots. Apparently the original material was not retained in most of the cases, and the films have survived, even in the Sony library, only with these haphazardly created replacement opening and end credits. In this film's case, Hygo didn't even get the title right! They call it 'Range Fued'.
- GoofsAt the start of the movie, the Gail Pictures re-release title card misspells the title as "Range Fued." Further information in Trivia.

Sheriff Buck Gordon: [addressing the church congregation after becoming recently elected sheriff] I represent the law of man. The law of God is the law of man, but that law has been abused. I've done many things in this town. I was born here. I went to school here. I fought and played with a lot of you fellas since we were kids together, and what I got to say isn't to my liking.
