The town this show takes place in is said to be very close geographically to Pine Valley where AMC is located. The show also featured characters from AMC such as Angie and Jessie Hubbard and featured occasional apearances by AMC allumni Ruth Warrick ( pheobe wallingford ) and Eliene Hurley ( Myrtle Fargate ).
