Full of snappy dialogue, stylish scenery, and captivating stories, "Suits" more than passes the bar when it comes to contemporary, mass appeal, prestige television. After enjoying an impressive but relatively muted nine-season run from 2011 to 2019, the USA series suddenly became one of the most popular TV shows in the 2020s thanks to a bump from Netflix. The renewed interest in it has apparently been so overwhelming that NBC ordered a spin-off from series creator Aaron Korsh.
Korsh's new series -- titled "Suits L.A." -- will feature a new law firm and a brand new cast of characters, led by "Arrow" star Stephen Amell. While fans of the mothership series may not be surprised by this choice, the absence of these beloved actors will surely be felt, especially since it's hard to find many of them in other shows, unless you know where to look.

Iconic actor Tony Todd has died at the age of 69, it has been confirmed. As reported by THR, the Candyman, Platoon, and Star Trek: The Next Generation star, who amassed in excess of 250 professional credits over the course of an astonishing, five decade spanning career, passed away on 6 November at his home in Los Angeles after a long battle with illness.
Anthony Tiran Todd was born in Washington D.C. on 4 December, 1954 to Evetta Lyons Gaither. At the age of just three a young Tony Todd moved to Hartford, Connecticut where his auntie, Clara Elliston, took custody of him and nurtured his adolescent curiosity with the arts. Having enrolled Todd in summer acting courses as a boy, Elliston supported her nephew — artistically, financially, and emotionally — as his interest in theatre led to spells at both Eugene O’Neill National Actors Theatre Institute in Connecticut and Trinity Repertory Company in Rhode Island.

I have very sad news to report tonight. It has been announced that Tony Todd has died at the age of 69. The legendary actor is best known for his roles in Candyman, Final Destination, Platoon, The Crow, Night of the Living Dead, and his many appearances in the Star Trek franchise. He was a massively talented actor whose incredible baritone voice made every project so much better. This is a huge blow.

New Line Cinema, the studio which produces the Final Destination franchise, wrote on Instagram: “The industry has lost a legend. We have lost a cherished friend. Netflix is taking another shot at an animated series based on Magic: The Gathering, the hugely popular role-playing game. The streamer first picked up a series based on the game in 2019, with Joe and Anthony Russo as showrunners.
The Russo brothers later departed the series over creative differences, and Jeff Klein (Transformers: Prime) took the reins. Brandon Routh was set to play in one of the lead voice roles, but that iteration of the show eventually fell by the wayside. Routh said in an interview at the Toronto International Film Festival that the show is “apparently not happening”; while that’s true for the version he worked on, Netflix is now forging ahead with a new version.

The long-gestating “Magic: The Gathering” animated series at Netflix is moving forward with a new showrunner.
Terry Matalas is now set as the series’ showrunner, as revealed during Netflix’s annual Geeked Week event. The new take on the series is now in production. The show is produced in partnership with Hasbro Entertainment and Wizards of the Coast. Plot details for the new iteration are being kept under wraps.
There had recently been widespread speculation that the show was no longer moving forward at Netflix. Originally announced in 2019, the first iteration of the series was overseen by the Russo brothers of MCU fame. But then Jeff Kline was announced as the new executive producer and creative lead on the show in 2021 after the Russos departed over creative differences, with Brandon Routh being announced as voicing the series lead not long after.
Since then, however, there has been virtually no news about the series.

Wheel of Fortune will premiere a new season soon and Vanna White will work alongside the new host, Ryan Seacrest. Well, it hasn’t even started yet and this weekend, she had to rescue him from a tight spot at the Santa Monica Pier event.

When fans learned that Pat Sajak was retiring from the game show, they suspected that the older man had been bullied out of his show. Well, that made fans less than willing to give Ryan Seacrest a free ride when they heard that he would take over alongside Vanna White.
Some Wheel of Fortune fans thought that it was a slap in the face for Vanna White to bring in a new host. After all, she would probably be quite capable of doing the job herself. Well, for the time being, she is staying on and teaching him the ropes.

Nick Robinson, Diana Silvers, Lucas Till, Lamar Johnson, Aisling Franciosi, and Natalia del Riego have all joined the series.
They will star alongside previously announced star Lena Headey as well as Gillian Anderson. The official description of the series states:
“As a group of diverse, outlier families pursue their Manifest Destiny in 1850s Oregon, a corrupt force of wealth and power, coveting their land, tries to force them out. These abandoned souls, the kind of lost souls living on the fringe of society, unite their tribes to form a family and fight back. In this bloody process, ‘justice’ is stretched beyond the boundaries of the law.”

America Ferrera is opening up about the potential for an Ugly Betty reboot!
Many popular series, like That 70′s Show, Charmed, MacGyver, Dynasty, and Hawaii Five-0, have been rebooted over the years, with new and returning casts.
Recently, Salma Hayek, who was a producer on Ugly Betty, thanked fans for their support of the show over the years, and at Elle’s Women In Hollywood celebration, America was asked about returning to the world and character.
Check out what she said inside…
“I think there has been like a deep desire there for a long time because our Ugly Betty family is so close and so we love each other so much,” America told Et.
“I think we’d all come back in a heartbeat,” she added. “It takes a lot of work to get a thing off the ground — maybe we’ll figure it out.”
“Betty is my heart.
