Landman is just the latest in Taylor Sheridan’s long and growing list of inimitable television hits after such shows as Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown, Special Ops: Lioness, and Tulsa King. While Paramount+ prospers under the umbrella of their partnership with the record-making creator, Sheridan finds a niche for himself to explore all the themes that were shunned by the remainder of the industry for being too dense and heavy.

In his latest endeavor, Taylor Sheridan repeated a trick that made him famous on television, especially on behalf of Kelly Reilly’s arc in Yellowstone. Through arcs like Beth Dutton and Kate Macer, the filmmaker has garnered an integral and profound understanding of the female psyche in all its strengths and foibles.
Now, he does the same again with Landman‘s Ali Larter and her layered character arc of Angela Norris.

Nicole Kidman has worked with a lot of commendable talents from the entertainment industry to become one of the most top-notch actresses in all of Hollywood. But while those big names include the likes of masterminds like Stanley Kubrick and Taylor Sheridan, among others, they don’t include one of the greatest filmmakers of all time: Martin Scorsese.

While that’s that, Kidman’s recent explosive comment on the respective director just may have revealed why exactly the pair haven’t collaborated yet despite being two of the most praiseworthy talents in the industry. However, as much as the actress is getting criticized over her statement, the real meaning behind it all could have a much deeper meaning.

Zoe Saldaña might just be the reigning queen of blockbuster franchises with multiple of her films in the billion-dollar club, unless… we count her co-star Chris Pratt, who’s practically everywhere one looks! But seriously, the woman’s resume reads like a nerd’s dream from Avatar, to the MCU, to Star Trek, to the Pirates of the Caribbean.

A lot of the commentary surrounding Yellowstone stems from Taylor Sheridan’s inability to set his story straight. After establishing a timeless tale about cowboys, ranchers, Native Americans, and family drama, Sheridan simply doomed his brainchild to a lackluster fate by failing to keep up his game.

Now, 6 years later, the cowboy drama struggles under its own overbearing weight while Taylor Sheridan returns from his excursion to Kingstown, 1883, 1923, Special Ops, Bass Reeves, and more to finally give Yellowstone the send-off it deserves.
Taylor Sheridan’s Final Vision for Yellowstone
While Taylor Sheridan was never one to drag his feet when it came to speaking his mind — be it in interviews or on script — Yellowstone gets somewhat muddied after getting caught in the politics of a studio system and the untameable ambition of the newly established, Oscar-nominated, and successful writer-director.

Sicario was, in many ways, the first film that introduced the mainstream audience to the brilliance of Taylor Sheridan as a scriptwriter. Denis Villeneuve, although present in the movie scene since the late 90s, was the only director who could have brought Sheridan’s twisted vision of complex human behavior to the screens without ruining the original story.
Emily Blunt and Daniel Kaluuya in Sicario [Credit: Lionsgate Films]Those among the fans who hadn’t been aware of Villeneuve’s existence in the form of Polytechnique (2009) or Incendies (2010) surely sat up and took notice. Soon after, Taylor Sheridan and Denis Villeneuve became part of those rare handful of writer-directors whose names increased ticket sales just as much as any A-lister would. Ultimately, Sicario launched them both into the Hollywood stratosphere.

We can reveal the streamer has ordered a fourth season of the Hindi-language series, which is from Applause Entertainment and was originally based on the 2008 BBC series of the same name.
Peter Moffat’s British show went to two seasons, but Gaurav Banerjee, Disney+ Hotstar’s Head of Content for Disney+ Hotstar and HSM Entertainment Networks, Disney Star, and his team have now taken the Indian show well beyond that point. You can watch a teaser trailer for the fourth season here.
“This is a pretty special moment because it marks five years of the Hotstar Specials journey, which launched in 2019,” he said. “Criminal Justice was our first big fiction series, and it is fantastic to see the franchise become stronger and continue to get critical acclaim and consumer love.

The cast for the Billy Bob Thornton-led Landman from Taylor Sheridan on Paramount+ just added another heavy hitter to the cast.

Another Taylor Sheridan drama series is getting underway.
Paramount+ announced that Landman has started production and revealed a more detailed description of the show and its cast.

Indian streamer Disney+ Hotstar is planning a major push into animation content for adults.
The push follows the success of Graphic India’s 3D animation “The Legend of Hanuman,” the third season of which debuted earlier this month to a critical and audience reception that the streamer is happy with. The series is derived from ancient Indian mythological epic “The Ramayana.”
“There are so many stories around around ‘The Ramayana’ that are remaining to be told. We feel that this is a franchise, which has lots of storytelling left, and we want to really scale up and build this world in an exciting manner,” Gaurav Banerjee, head, content, Disney+ Hotstar and HSM (Hindi-language speaking markets) Entertainment Network at broadcaster Disney Star, told Variety.
Disney+ Hotstar is teaming with Graphic India again for another adult animation series, which will be unveiled within the next six months, but it is coy about specific details at the moment.

Following the success of chaotic cowboy drama Yellowstone, co-creator Taylor Sheridan has been given an entire book of blank checks, and has cashed as many as he could manage in just five years. While his involvement in these TV projects wavers, sometimes drastically, his brand has always been on point.
With over half a dozen shows now within the House of Sheridan, let’s take a look at how each program measures up against the rest of the catalog.
7. Lawmen: Bass Reeves
The story of real life American folk legend Bass Reeves (David Oyelowo) was originally supposed to be a larger cog in the Yellowstone prequel machine, but as it continued to evolve, it became its own standalone project, which works both for and against the show. Part of the charm of the Yellowstone prequels for any Sheridan fan is getting to search for connections between the different generations of the Dutton family.

Dogs are not only man’s best friend, but also loyal allies in times of war. They have been trained to perform various tasks, such as scouting, tracking, guarding, detecting explosives, or delivering messages. They have also saved countless lives and earned many honors for their bravery and devotion.
Some of these war dogs have become legends, such as Stubby, who served in World War I and was awarded several medals; Chips, who attacked an enemy machine gun nest in World War II and received a Silver Star; or Max, who starred in a 2015 film about a dog who helped US Marines in Afghanistan.
Now, a new film inspired by true events will tell the story of another war dog who made history. The film is titled Tutti Frutti, and it follows the adventures of a stray dog who is adopted by an Indian Army unit during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War.

Special Ops 1.5(Disney + Hotstar, 4 Episodes)
Starring K K Menon, Aftab Shivdasani, Vinay Pathak, Adil Khan
Directed by Neeraj Pathak, Shivum Nair
Strong stuff, this. The writing is skilful if not completely convincing. The plot takes us to a number of foreign countries and the action sequences in Ukraine are first-rate.
Hats off to Neeraj Pandey and his co-director Shivum Nair for respecting the audiences’ intelligence. This is an intelligent nosedive into the world of Intelligence. Special Ops 1.5 neither underestimates our proclivity to grasp the unspoken, nor does it spoonfeed us with surplus information.
What we see is not what we get. Not quite. There are invisible layers of deception in the espionage drama as we are taken into a backstory to find out what made the Raw agent Himmat Singh what he is. It’s a stroke of luck for Himmat Singh that he is played by the ever-reliable K K Menon.

What we see is not what we get. Not quite. There are invisible layers of deception in the espionage drama as we are taken into a backstory to find out what made the Raw agent Himmat Singh what he is. It’s a stroke of luck for Himmat Singh that he is played by the ever-reliable K K Menon.

Filmmaker Neeraj Pandey has decided to take forward the Special Ops franchise by exploring stories of the different characters we saw in the first season, rather than follow up the story with another season, because he was looking for something unconventional.
The Special Ops franchise will be in multi-series format, he informs, with actor Kay Kay Menon returning as agent Himmat Singh in Special Ops 1.5.
"The route that we have taken with Special Ops is that it will be a franchise. But rather than, going into the typical season two format, or season three format, (we thought) let's do something more exciting, which is how the idea of Special Ops 1.5 came about, where we go back in time. We go to the year 2001," Pandey told Ians.
Special Ops 1.5 is set "in the aftermath of Parliament attacks", Pandey informs, adding that the story explores "what happened in the next few months with Himmat Singh,...

Failure, competition and the pressure of staying relevant perennially looms on actors in Bollywood. Some can cope with it and some cannot. Those who cannot, often quit and opt for a different path in another fields.
The author has jotted out a few names, who courted the limelight for a while but could not continue their journey in the world of glitz and sparkle called Bollywood.
Imran Khan
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's nephew Imran Khan has quit Bollywood as an actor. He broke the news earlier this month. Imran made his debut in Hindi film industry in 2008 with the hit film "Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na". However, most of what followed was forgettable fare as "Luck", "Kidnap", "I Hate Luv Story" and "Break Ke Baad". There was "Delhi Belly" in 2011, but that was an odd success, clearly not enough. Imran's last big screen outing was in 2015 with Kangana Ranaut...
