1. First step is to see your targeted audience. What they want ? 2. For targeting the audience you can do surveys , research , interview people and many more . 3. Once you get them see your competitors what they provide and what extra and unique you have to provide your audience, so they attract towards your product. 4. You understand what they want build features and ui as eye catching and with good user experience. 5. Keep in mind people get attracted towards nice things that are glamorous look's expensive. That's the little this you have to keep in mind and build your app . 💻❤️

Identifying your audience is the crucial process of understanding the unique demographics, preferences, and needs of the individuals who form the intended user base for your product or service, ensuring that your development and marketing efforts align precisely with their expectations and requirements.

Well identifying your target audience is very important in mobile apps before starting even UI/UX part. Specially UX part is useful to target specific group. If it's corporate application, it should be as per their branding. As well as when you are targeting any specific consumer group follow their culture what they like in time of making UX. Secondly App must have a purpose to target that audience so UX should meet that purpose too with easy steps. It must be self explanatory or any one can use it very easily. Otherwise targeting will be irrelevant and even after making a good technical product it will not get proper audience.

Start by identifying a common market problem, then analyze existing solutions and their shortcomings. Next, define the audience facing this issue which will ensure the app addresses real needs, leading to a more focused and effective solution.

With the help of market research try to identify the target audience’s key parameters such as Age, Gender, Geography, Profession, Education, Tech awareness etc. And also identify the pain point which they are facing in similar type of app if it exists in the market. These parameters helps the product team to understand the end customer in detail. Based on these parameters, product team can define the user Interface/experience and features required in the app to specific problem which app is trying to solve.

One recurrent mistake I've seen is that business drives the technology to be used. This is not a problem if we have the right technology that best serves the business, but it's a big issue if tech people are reluctant to use that specific tech in that scenario because there are better options or the technology is soon to be obsolete. Each project has specific business requirements and therefore every project has specific technology requirements. There is no such thing as one-size-fits-all and we tech people if we've been working in native for years shouldn't discard as-is cross-platform technologies, and cross-platform people shouldn't discard native either. As engineers we should aim for the better solution not the one that suits me best.

It’s often more beneficial to invest extra time in the initial stage, asking 'What do you need?' rather than rushing into 'How are we going to develop it?'. This approach ensures that the development is aligned with the audience's needs, leading to a more successful and user-centric application. Patience and thorough research at this stage can significantly impact the effectiveness and reception of the final product.
