Thank you Oyate Group for selecting us as a Rising Restaurateur and for this feature about us and our owners Jade E Duncan and Dawn Kelly!! Support is a verb!
We are proud to recognize The Nourish Spot as one of our Rising Restaurateur recipients! Founded by Dawn Kelly and her daughter, Jade Duncan, this mother-daughter duo has transformed South Jamaica, Queens, by offering fresh, healthy food and beverages in a food desert. Beyond serving meals, The Nourish Spot provides indoor dining and free WiFi, creating a crucial resource for college students and the community. Their resilience shone during the pandemic, keeping their doors open and expanding into BedStuy, Brooklyn, while also serving as a concession at the US OPEN.
