As the first Innovation Hub of HCA Healthcare and Digital Transformation & Innovation (DT&I, formerly CT&I), our nurses are directly shaping the Nurse Handoff solution in collaboration with DT&I and Google Cloud. Their voice is essential in handcrafting both the solution and education/training programs. Our trauma team had the honor of being chosen to represent TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center at the 2024 Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP) Conference in Denver, CO last week! They presented a poster highlighting our Level III trauma center's commitment to exceptional neurotrauma management. They were joined by TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center, TriStar Skyline Medical Center, TriStar Horizon Medical Center and trauma centers from across HCA. The teams spent the week learning about effective communication and collaboration between facilities to improve the care our traumatically injured patients receive. Our BEE Award recipient is top-notch! 💛🖤 Nile is a patient care technician who was recognized countless times this quarter by her peers and patients, so it is only fitting that she is this quarter's BEE Award recipient. This is what one of Niles' patient's families had to say: "Nile showed a lot of dedication by performing her job tirelessly with a smile all night. She was always cheerful and willing to help. We had her twice and absolutely loved her." The BEE Award is given to a patient care technician who displays skill in their profession and provides compassionate care with integrity, respect and exceptional quality. Congrats, Nile! 🎉
