The media library is a single location for uploading, managing, removing, and selecting media for ad creation.
The media library helps you save time, drive better performance, and improve collaboration. With the media library, you can:
-
Upload up to five images or videos at a time from:
- Files you upload into the media library.
- Existing media in the media library. The media library contains up to 1,000 images or videos from the past 12 months of Direct Sponsored Content in the account.
- Free Shutterstock images in the media library. You can add up to 10 Shutterstock images per month using their library of millions of ready-to-use images.
-
Create up to five different single image ads or video ads at a time that share the same intro text, URL, and headline. You can customize each ad’s name, intro text, URL, and headline prior to launch.
-
Manage an account’s media with teammates from a single location: upload, rename, remove, filter, search, and select media in the media library.
When you navigate to the media library, your images will be sorted by recommended by default. You can also sort images by newest, oldest, and alphabetically using the dropdown menu in the upper-right corner.
Important to know
Optimize performance by selecting LinkedIn recommended images
When you open the image library, we’ll automatically select the top five recommended images. You can override these selections by either deselecting them or uploading new content.
When you view images that are sorted by recommended, the images are ranked based on the predicted relevance and performance of each image. We make these predictions using various inputs, such as member interactions with similar content and specifics about your company.
Images that you upload to the media library are available to use immediately. However, newly added images will be at the end of the recommended list until they are ranked and sorted.
