Here's how you can enhance your ability to think strategically under pressure.
Enhancing Strategic Thinking Under Pressure Through Stoic Philosophy In the demanding field of Executive Protection (EP), the ability to think strategically under pressure is paramount. Whether you're dealing with an immediate threat, a complex logistical challenge, or high-stakes decision-making, maintaining composure and clarity is essential. Over the last six years, I have been practicing and applying Stoic principles, and I wish I had discovered them decades ago. The most valuable idea I originally discovered in Stoicism is that we are each 100% in control of how we react to anything—good or bad. Think about the power in that concept. These principles have significantly enhanced my strategic thinking and resilience under pressure.

How to Write an RFP for Executive Protection
AS Solution Blog
Every good corporate executive protection program starts with a good RFP. Or should, at least.
Because the RFP, or request for proposal, is the most powerful document the corporation has to structure the bidding process and improve the transparency of competing bidders’ advantages and disadvantages.

Because the RFP, or request for proposal, is the most powerful document the corporation has to structure the bidding process and improve the transparency of competing bidders’ advantages and disadvantages.
All organizations have their own purchasing policies and procedures, and most will probably already have guidelines and templates regarding RFPs. But few corporations have much experience in outsourcing such a specialist partner service as executive protection. Given the executive protection program’s close-up-and-personal visibility with top execs, this experience gap matters: Whereas most purchasing decisions made by the security department will not figure prominently on the CEO’s radar, the people chosen to provide close personal protection will.

6 Reasons to Outsource Executive Protection
AS Solution Blog
Make or buy? The decision belongs to the corporation, of course. And we’re fully aware that we can be accused of tooting our own horn in this blog. But we think there are some compelling reasons why practically all corporations choose to outsource executive protection services, at least in part, to specialist partners rather than exclusively trying to build internal competencies in this niche profession.

Good luck. Because unlike many other aspects of corporate life, EP often seems to be implemented without a strategy.
There just aren’t many corporate executive protection strategy documents lying around either in corporate headquarters or in executive protection companies. Blueprints that cover the strategy essentials are not available online. Why? We believe this is due to two simple but interrelated factors:
1.Most people who know a lot about corporate strategy don’t know much about executive protection.
2.Most people who know a lot about executive protection don’t know much about corporate strategy.

The Corporate Executive Protection Ecosystem
AS Solution Blog
The difference between corporate executive protection and EP in other contexts is, well, corporate.
