How do you balance persistence and professionalism in cold calling?
I think you should research as they are always impressed when you know about them personally. Such as a past position in our industry etc. You have to do the work to get further and win. If you don't research and do your homework, you are just like every other Tom, Dick or Harry calling on them. They won't give yo the chance for them to even begin to like you and continue a robust conversation. It can't be about you. It has to be about them and what's in it for them these days.
