If the CEO's direct staff is 60 people, the number of layers you've removed in a company is probably something like 7. I don't do 1-on-1s and almost everything that I say, I say to everybody at the same time... ...I love that everybody is working off the same song sheet. I love that there is no privileged access to information. THE NEXT WAVE OF AI: THE PHYSICAL AI At Computex, the annual tech trade show in Taiwan, one statement stood out: Jensen Huang’s assertion that “The next wave of AI is physical AI.” For years, the promise of generalizable robotics — robots capable of performing a wide range of tasks across unstructured environments — has been out of reach. While robots have excelled in highly structured settings, their application in dynamic, unstructured environments such as outdoor areas, warehouses, and factories has been limited. The challenge of developing systems that can adapt to and function effectively in unpredictable settings is complex and costly. However, this landscape is changing rapidly. The convergence of powerful GPUs, reliable computer vision, and affordable robotic arms is catalyzing a "Big Bang" in generalizable robotics. Advances in computer vision and deep learning have dramatically enhanced robot performance, increasing capabilities 33-fold in just seven years, according to ARK Research. Robots are now outperforming humans in factory settings and are poised to do so in many other domains. For instance, Amazon currently deploys over one million robots in its operations. This automation has significantly increased efficiency, reducing the time from click to ship a good at an Amazon warehouse to just 14 minutes—an astonishing achievement. As hardware and software costs continue to decline dramatically (costs drop by half with every cumulative doubling of production), productivity improvements will create a vast market opportunity for generalizable robotics, potentially generating trillions in annual revenues at scale. Innovative companies like Miso Robotics (FoodTech), Solinftec (AgriTech), and Invisible AI (manufacturing) are great examples at the forefront of this transformation in their respective domains.
