Real value realization will mostly be vertical based, not the horizontal LLM. AI will move from infrastructure AI, physical AI(automotive, robotics) to the horizon 3, that is likely AI biggest apps such as AI for science, particularly life science Sandra Rivera : AI impact is multi facets. First it is a TAM expansion for FPGA, which is needed as co-accelerator. AI is also embedded in placement tool and in even in basic fabrics, which will be making FPGA better. Power is the single Largest limiter for AI deployment. Also, Should AI be better regulated than what happened in social media, leading to the data security and privacy. Tien Wu : AI has driven ASE to increase capex to 4B This year from 2B last year due to systematic complexity, not just technology but the more players in ecosystem, which breaks the traditional pricing. AI has made us seeing the first time that Hardware is the bottleneck in term of improvement and return in profit. US has the data and economic scale to deploy AI across all sectors in term of efficiency improvement, given US also has been a highly "wasteful" nation.

In the next three to five years, India has the potential to become a $50 billion AI market. Realizing this potential will require us to nurture talent, build relevant solutions, and democratize technology for non-English-speaking communities. I recently watched Naval Ravikant on The Ranveer Show (BeerBiceps Media World Private Limited), and it reminded me of the powerful lessons from his book The Almanac of Naval Ravikant: A Guide to Wealth and Happiness. Here are my top takeaways: 1️⃣ 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 = 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺: True wealth isn’t about accumulating money—it's about gaining control over your time. Create systems that allow you to work on what you love, with people you admire. 2️⃣ 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲: Identify your unique skills that feel like play to you but look like work to others. Enjoyed my panel at #CCE2024 with old SAP/Goog friend Chirag Mehta and new SFDC friend Shan Appajodu on enterprise AI product landscape. Here are my main take aways 1️⃣ Productivity boost of AI on “jobs to be done” is real, regardless of whether you believe Google's claim of 25% of code AI generated. Its true across all functions and companies of all sizes. We see it at Pindrop and see it among our largest banking customers 👍 2️⃣ The pace at which enterprise tech has responded is faster than all previous tech transitions - cloud, mobile, analytics - i have witnessed in my 25 year career 🚀. Does that mean the industry is over investing. Hard to tell just like its hard to time stock markets. 3️⃣ The deluge of new AI assistants/bots/agents/co-pilots is overwhelming the enterprise. Most still need to do the hard work to achieve product market fit 😓 4️⃣ I am no astrologer, but its obvious to most that more new cool AI apps will be built. At the same time, there is going to be rationalization of AI assistants/agents and possibly several apps in the current stack 😞 5️⃣ Gen AI is breaking all trust in communication. Synthetic audio has crossed the uncanny valley, Video will soon do so too. Companies need to protect their RTC stack against deepfake. To be able to harness dynamics at the quantum level is already a game-changer. To be able to harness it leveraging principles of #complexadaptivesystems - whole-systems quantum computation - is going to result in systematization of #quantumsupremacy. In the times to come we should therefore expect to see more displays of this where D-Wave’s annealing quantum computing is used.

We live more on a URL than in IRL. We have a duty as a digital citizen. On a recent podcast, Manoj Deshpande Neha Deshpande and I discussed digital civics - the rights and duties of a digital citizen, with a strong focus on good behavior and responsibilities. That discussion was all about extracting good civic behaviors from everyday life like being good to your neighbors, keeping your vicinity clean, showing respect, etc., and drawing a parallel to behavior on the internet. But the nature of the internet itself requires a new framework that looks at all the nuances of chatting and sharing, gaming, phone use, scams, misinformation, etc. To address that, I've extended a new psychological framework loosely based on original work done by Estelle Clements https://lnkd.in/dSx2qUzu
