- [Instructor] We're going to start working on a house modeled in SketchUp, but first we have to make sure our SketchUp model is ready before we sync. So before we sync, we're going to do three things. One, we're going to make sure that everything is at the origin. Two, we're going to add materials to inside and outside of walls. And three, we're going to double-check for similar materials. The first thing on our list is we want to make sure that everything is at the origin. When you look at the SketchUp file, you'll see that I've moved all of the geometry close to that point. Our next step is to add materials to both inside and outside of walls. You want to make sure you have a different material on the inside face of your walls than the outside face, unless this is a design choice.
