⚛️ Nuclear Energy – what is it, and why is Amazon investing in it? ⚛️ As part of our commitment to The Climate Pledge and achieving net-zero carbon by 2040, we're investing in nuclear energy. As we plan for the future energy needs of our business and customers, nuclear will play a critical role in delivering safe, carbon-free energy around the world. Check out the video to learn more!

Amazon should be investing more in employees, doing better supply chain analysis, better working conditions, better benefits and ability to organize when and where needed. Amazon cares about Amazon and powering their tech while using mass public resources(water, tax breaks, etc) It’s not gifting anything to the world for the future, we ALL PAY for what they do, not just on the front end. Should be broken up. They’ve become a mega monster.

I have questions about how the amount of nuclear waste would fit into a "standard size swimming pool". The NEI suggests that the waste in the USA alone "...would fill one football field, 10 yards deep." The US Department of Energy says the US "...generates about 2,000 metric tons of spent fuel each year..." which "...is roughly equivalent to less than half the volume of an Olympic-sized swimming pool." U.S. commercial reactors have generated about 90,000 metric tons of spent fuel since the 1950s. If all of it were able to be stacked together, it could fit on a single football field at a depth of less than 10 yards. And while the spent fuel is technically 90% recyclable, the US does not currently recycle spent fuel. So, while I do believe in the promise of nuclear energy, this video lacks accuracy or proper detail.

There are zero SMR in existence or approved. Stop with this nuclear bs. The cost is 10X compared to green energy production. And nuclear is the worse because of the storage of spent rods that have high radioactive output for a 1000 years. People don't know the reason for higher cancer rates in urban cities is because of the nuclear waste that has been railed through urban cities for storage at a remote sites. Why the EPA will not information cities of the transit of this most toxic and cancer causing materials. Amazon knows this but their importance is about get power for their deployment of their massive data centers and at the higher cost for nuclear passed on to consumers. This is the new push for AI and data centers that suck massive power. We have developed modular mobile data center for industry to not store all their data with big tech leaving them vulnerable to hacks that happen every day not reported to media. This carbon free nuclear has been killing Americans for decades with cancer. The most toxic carbon highest price energy production in the world. Cooled with water. At what costs? This is the hidden secret of nuclear and the push by big tech to secure their power for profit.

The extremely dangerous waste takes thousands of years to decay. As of 2017, 80,000 tons of nuclear waste were being stored in this country.

Amazon , I m so disappointed how careless and bad customer service you are giving in Dubai. It has happened with me so many tines where it says order delivered but never received it. I have been requesting for last 2 days custoner service to track the order as its urgent but there is such a big gap that they can't track Dubai Drliveries. So I have been very helpless and hopeless. Waited for 2 days but there is no update feom Amazon. Such a big company with so poor tracking process and bad customer service. I have lost my trust on Amazon now.

Thank you Amazon! Nuclear fission has always been the best solution for global warming is not only the safest is the most reliable and cheapest long-term among the green energy sources. Our natural bias enforced by global security policies and the influence of media made us lose 40 years in the battle for the environment. Even environmental groups who should be in favor of reducing our use of fossil fuels lobbied against it without looking at the statistics. Perhaps the most relevant example of this was the case of Germany which gave in to demands made by environmental activists and ended up replacing nuclear fission for fossil fuels, mainly gas imported from Russia, giving Russia a lot of political leverage which was a major contributing factor in Putin decision to invade Ukraine, introducing instability in the region. Due to a cultural bias we changed a hypothetical unfounded security concern to an actual security negatively impacting Europe's economy in the process. I congratulate Amazon for looking at the data with objectivity to help break this cultural bias and help reduce the impact we are causing to the environment.

Proud to see our co-founder and signatory drive demand for this safe, reliable, and clean energy source!

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction regarding the handling of my order (Order ID: 406-8216349-9399511) for dog food, placed on 15th October 2024. The product cost ₹4,800, and despite multiple follow-ups, the issue remains unresolved. This has caused significant stress and inconvenience to me and my family. Here is a summary of the events: Delivery Issue: Initially, the product delivery was delayed, and I had to contact your team multiple times. Defective Product: Upon receiving the order, the dog food was defective. I raised a complaint, and your agent assured me of a replacement. Pickup Delays: After repeated calls, the defective product was eventually picked up, but no replacement or refund has been provided to date. Investigation Delays: I have been informed repeatedly that an investigation is ongoing, but no resolution has been shared despite weeks of waiting. This prolonged delay and lack of resolution has caused significant distress, both emotionally and financially. As someone from a lower-income background, this experience has severely impacted my mental health. Additionally customer care keeps of rejecting the call. Immediate refund of ₹4,800 OR A replacement of the dog food at the earliest.
