AWS expands its operational responsibility in EKS Auto Mode compared to customer-managed infrastructure in your EKS clusters. In addition to the EKS control plane, AWS will configure, manage, and secure the AWS infrastructure in EKS clusters that your applications need to run.

This is great to help reduce Kubernetes complexity and undifferentiated heavy lifting for it. More and more often we have a set for things needed in most clusters that are non team specific, good to see a way to eliminate much of that beyond just the EKS blueprints.
