INTERNSHIPS MIGHT NOT BE ENOUGH TO GIVE YOU PRODUCT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
If you are a new product manager and want to understand deeply the topics, frameworks, and everything that concerns product management, I would advise you to work on case studies.
When working on case studies, try to collaborate with other skills involved in the product development cycle. Work with data analysts, UI/UX designers, and, if possible, developers—whether front-end, back-end, or mobile—so that you will understand the different aspects of your work and how to collaborate with them.
One great aspect of internships is that they provide structure and guidance. However, internships can sometimes be limiting because they are often streamlined and structured. While internships provide valuable experience, the structured nature of these roles may not always offer the full breadth of learning you need.
To truly understand product management, it's essential to go beyond the scope of your internship by engaging in diverse projects and practical exercises. Case studies are an excellent way to deepen your knowledge. They simulate real-world challenges and require you to think critically about solving problems. Collaborating with professionals from different fields—data analysts, UI/UX designers, and developers—can give you insights into how various roles contribute to the product development process and improve your ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Remember, the goal is to build a comprehensive understanding of product management. Practical experience, coupled with theoretical knowledge, will prepare you to tackle the complexities of this role and help you grow into a more confident and competent product manager.

6dBooking.com’s disregard for its customers needs to be exposed! On December 27, 2024, my wife and I faced an absurd situation. Two months ago, we booked the Rosen Inn International Near The Parks, Orlando, with check-in on the same day and check-out on January 7, 2025. The reservation was confirmed in the app until we arrived at the hotel at 10:40 PM. When we arrived, we were told the reservation had been unilaterally canceled, allegedly due to issues with the credit card. This is unacceptable because: 1. We received no notification about any problems. 2. The app still showed the reservation as confirmed. We were left without accommodation during peak season, forced to find another hotel at the last minute, paying significantly more. Booking.com failed to inform us of the cancellation and did not provide any support. We demand that Booking cover the additional costs caused by their failure and provide an immediate solution. Their delayed response only highlights their disregard for customers.
