good morning! ❤️ have you remembered to check your conversions on google ads? started my day by auditing an account— a b2b case that Kevin Hjorslev and i will be working on. the first thing i check is the conversion tracking setup. Dreamdata and hubspot have both been implemented, which is super nice. unfortunately, every single conversion is marked as 'primary,' including the ones that 'aren’t important' or actively used. there's no reason for this. if it 'doesn't matter,' just mark it as a secondary conversion or remove it. keep it clean and tidy. the algorithm uses primary goals to optimize your campaigns. secondary ones are just there for observation. make sure you define a good mix of conversions: hard conversions like leads, contacts, or demos soft conversions like time spent on site, scroll depth, or views on specific pages b2b cases are often long and heavy, so make sure you’re also measuring the quality of the traffic you generate, not just the volume.
