MY 5 TOP TIPS FOR COLD CALLING 📞 Cold calling is NOT for the faint hearted, you have to take each call with a pinch of salt and remember not everyone is going to like you and want what you are offering. It is coming up to my 6 year anniversary at Imperial Corporate Events Ltd and I have done a lot of cold calling in my time, so it is only right I share my top tips 😎 1. Open every call with positivity and wow them, put your foot in that door and don't let them shut it 🚪 2. Be UNIQUE, people get cold calls daily whether that is selling toilet paper, pens or hospitality, BE DIFERENT! You need to stand out from the rest ✌ 3. People buy people, if you come across as a genuine and professional individual, people will respect you much more and therefore will want to do business with you 🤝 4. Expect them to buy, confidence within yourself and your product is KEY, if you don't believe in it then how is a stranger going to? 👀 5. Don't let the rejection get to you, you will not fail if you stick at it, learn from each call and adjust your pitch when or if you feel like it is needed ✔ And if you are one of the lucky ones that gets to hear our amazing pitches on a cold call, please be kind we are only human ❤️

Let's chat about something we all do but might not always love: cold calling. But here's a thought – what if we could turn those calls into something our prospects actually look forward to? Imagine this: Instead of just dialing numbers and pitching, we first get to know our prospects and their pain points. Each call becomes an opportunity to help, not just sell. The key is to start building trust and rapport right from the get-go. We need to make sure every call is thoughtful, relevant, and genuinely adds value to our prospect's day. It's about showing that we're interested in what they need and offering solutions that fit their unique situations. This way, cold calling becomes less about the transaction and more about the connection. I'm really curious about your experiences: How do you make those initial calls into chances for real connection? What are your strategies for turning a cold call into the start of a valuable relationship? Let’s share our approaches and learn from each other.

Want better results from cold calls? Ditch the pleasantries ❌ and get real. When you make a cold call, keep this in mind: People are busy, and they don’t have time for small talk. They don’t know you, and frankly, they don’t need to! The best approach is to get straight to the point. Who you are, where you’re calling from, and why they should listen💡 📊 According to Sales Insights Lab, 63% of sales professionals say that cold calls are the most effective way to reach clients. You just have to do it right. The more honest and direct you are, the faster you’ll get a response. 80% of your cold calls get answered with “I'm in a meeting” But 90% of the time, the prospect isn't actually in a meeting If they’re actually busy; wouldn’t have lift a call from an unknown number… 5 ways to handle it and qualify if the prospect is really interested or not on that call itself 1. Would you have a couple of seconds to share why I called you? I promise to be brief. 2. Mind if I take a couple of seconds to share why I called you and you can decide if it’s worth a call back? 3. Are you really in a meeting or is it a nice way of saying I don't want to talk to you? Both ways I am fine. 4. Is the meeting about [then state the problem you're calling to help them solve] 5. Can I take a couple of seconds to quickly share why I’m calling to see if it’s relevant?” Based on the answers you can decide if the prospect is really interested or not. Happy cold calling! #abm #coldcalling
