From monitoring #emissions at the source to observing changes in Earth’s systems like receding sea ice or global tree cover, these technologies enable us not just to look and analyze, but to act. The race for Artificial Super Intelligence and the climate emergency are 2 sides of the same coin - they are not mutually exclusive, quite the opposite. Their fates may well be intertwined... The theory.... By taking a decentralised approach, sending AI clusters to where the heat they generate can be used for social and industrial good, is the only logical way to win both the technical race to ASI, and the climate emergency race to electrify home and industrial heating. There isn't enough power or grid capacity to think otherwise but it is a big conceptual leap.
