With LLM Models, they have a size limit on the number of input tokens you can supply. Arctic is built to error out and warn you if you exceed the input size limit so you know you've had a problem. With other models, the tokens you enter can get clipped and the model will return results using less data or rules than you thought, without warning you or erroring. Do you want to know if there was a problem or get flawed results back? Something to think about when evaluating which LLMs to use for your workload. Are you going to nest LLM calls and results, and need errors exposed upwards or to the wrapper code? I'd think you'd want that capability. Just another reason to try out Arctic.
